See that dancer in the music video?  The one in the cloth?  That’s me!

Earlier this summer, I had the opportunity to perform aerial silks in a music video with the band A Sky Jet Black. We shot “Out to Sea” at the studio where I take classes, Blue Lapis Light, and at Red Bud Isle here in Austin.  This whole vision came together through the extremely talented Tina Rivera, a local music video maker.

That’s a little preview above, but this Friday is the VIDEO PREMIERE!  I haven’t even seen the whole thing yet, so I am beyond pumped. I don’t want to give too much away, but in addition to twirling around on the silks, I also play an ominous river creature. Which may explain why a scared dog was barking frantically at me.

A Sky Jet Black will show it at 11:00pm at Cheer Up Charlie’s, who is in the middle of a community battle right now for their sound curfew, so come on out to support to Cheer Up’s!  (And this ominous river creature.)
